The nonstop touring machine known as Roster McCabe will be back in the city this Saturday at Abbey Pub. These guys have ‘broken through’ in Chicago like few Midwestern bands have, earning a reputation for inducing the “Roster McCabe Effect,” whereby they outdraw every band on the bill, including headliners. Well, they’re the headliner on this night and they’re gonna throw down in a huge way — hopefully a full two-set show. They just released a brand new live album called Wow, Neat Sounds, which sounds absolutely fantastic and is the first release from them that truly captures what their live show is like. But don’t just listen to this album, get your ass out to Abbey Pub and get down with your bad self!
